Mr. Dan Daley, 52, of Oglesby, died early Saturday morning, December 15, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Mr. Daley was born July 27, 1955 in Spring Valley to Thomas F. and Deloris (Samolinski) Daley, Jr. He was a 1973 graduate of St. Bede Academy and a graduate of Laramie Wyoming Technical College. He was a member of Local 285 of UAW (United Auto Workers).
He retired December 1, 2006 after 30 years of service with Sauer Danfoss as a machine operator. He is survived by his mother, Deloris of Oglesby; a daughter, Dana K. Daley of LaSalle; a son, Michael T. Daley of LaSalle; a sister, Susan (Michael) Suarez of Peru; a brother, Kevin J. (Rebecca) Daley of LaSalle and his paternal grandmother, Edith Daley of Oglesby.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas F. Daley, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Thomas F. Daley, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Angeline(Turczyn) Samolinski and nephew, Timmothy Daley.
