Daniel W. Kindig, 86, of Bethlehem, died Sunday, April 29, 2012 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem, Pa. He was the loving husband of Mary (Hartner) Kindig for over 60 years this past December. Daniel served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a Millwright at Bethlehem Steel for 41 years until retiring in 1988. He was an Endowment Member of the NRA and Odd Fellows Club in Nazareth and served two terms as President of the Bethlehem Twp. Lions Club. Daniel was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord R.C. Church in Bethlehem, Pa. Survivors: wife, Mary, children, Daniel W. Kindig, Jr., Patricia Beckage, Maryann Truglio, and Betty Jane Sanchez, a brother, Weston Kindig, sisters, Emma Mirra, and Barbara Coit, and many grand, great and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Timothy J. Kindig who died in 2000.
