Daniel Hornyak, 62, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, January 15, 2015. Dan born in Norwalk, attended Brien McMahon High School and furthered his studies at Norwalk State Technical College. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1970 and served his country as a Telecommunications Specialist. Fondly known as “Dan, the T-Shirt Man”, he owned and operated Shirt Graphics in Fairfield for thirty-nine years, operating exclusively by personal referral. Dan took great joy in expressing his love for his Savior through vocal ministry in the Men’s Quartet and Choral Ensemble. God also used Dan’s life-experiences to encourage others wounded by divorce, as Dan mentored a “Divorce Care” class for four years. He will be missed by so many: his father, Ernest Hornyak and his wife Linda; a sister, MaryAnn Erickson; his brother, Anthony Pignatore; 5 nieces; 3 nephews; his beloved and dearest friend, Christina Francello, beloved friends Joe, Sue and Whitney who, along with Christina, faithfully upheld him during his illness; as well as many brothers and sisters in Christ. He was predeceased by his mother Theresa Hornyak. Until we see you again, Dan!
