DANIEL S. SERFASS, 27 of Quakertown died enjoying life while snowmobiling Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009. Born in Lansdale, he was a son of Gary E. and Sandra J. (Spotts) Serfass of Quakertown. Daniel was a 2000 graduate of Quakertown High School and the Upper Bucks Vo-Tech plumbing & heating program, serving his co-op work program with Young & Bowman of Doylestown. He was currently employed as a millwright for Worth & Co. of Plumsteadville. He was an active participant in Quakertown area youth sports including midget football, little league baseball, Connie Mack baseball, and QYC wrestling. He continued wrestling at Strayer Middle School and with the varsity wrestlers of Quakertown High School. Daniel enjoyed the outdoors as an avid fisherman and archery hunter. He enjoyed and loved snowboarding, street bikes, stunt riding, snowmobiling, and motocross. He raced his quad 450 B class at PA tracks, Sleepy Hollow, the Flyin’ Dutchman, and Evansville Super Cross. Most of all, he cherished his pit bull ‘Hunter’. Daniel was a Christian. He enjoyed life and loved his friends and family. His easy going spirit will be missed by all. Surviving with his parents are his brother Jason, sister Shannon Leary & husband Richard, nieces & nephews, Darian & Cody Serfass, Megan Landes, & Gage, Aiden, & Landen Leary, and maternal grandmother, Peggy Spotts.
