Daniel “D.C” Scott Coggin, age 58, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home in Newnan, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 29, 1962 in Newnan, GA. Daniel loved his family and friends dearly. He enjoyed woodworking, cowboy shooting and spending time on the lake fishing. He also enjoyed barbequing. He spent the last twenty years working with the Coweta County School Maintenance Department making countless friends along the way. With his great sense of humor, Daniel loved to joke around, laugh and was always ready for a goodtime. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Daniel is survived by his wife, Edie Tingle Coggin; parents, William H. “Buddy” and Florine Brimer Coggin; children, Nathan Coggin and his wife Lisa, Linsey Lee and her husband Justin, Kevin Coggin; grandchildren, Liam Coggin, Brayden Coggin, Garrett Coggin, Cora Lee and Ella Lee. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Coggin and his wife Michelle.
