Daniel Sanchez, 70, passed away on May 28, 2021, surrounded by love, prayer, song and laughter. He leaves behind his beloved wife of almost 20 years, Sara; his five daughters, Peggy (Luis), Jennifer, Jo Anne (Tim), Dani (Lynn) and Dawn (Leslie); 16 grandchildren, Paige (Ray), Alex, Samantha (Ryan), Dominic, Brian, Breanna, Natalia, Kaysi, Brooklyn, Gavin, Gavin (Red), Synclair, Drew, Sagan, Phillip and Allyson; and 1 great grandchild, Zoe. He is also survived by his three younger siblings; Manuel, David (Griselda) and Irma (Evaristo). He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Altagracia Sanchez.
Gone but not forgotten he will always be remembered by his service as a Marine, his time as an air traffic controller, and his dedication as a teacher and golf coach at Coakley Junior High School for 29 years.
He loved spending time with family and friends, playing golf (highlighted by two hole-in-ones), watching movies and feeding the wild birds in his backyard.
He was always just a phone call away. Friend. Husband. Father. Grandfather. Great-grandfather. Son. Brother. Uncle. Teacher. Coach. Marine. And so much more. No matter what you called was and always will be loved. His love will live on forever in the hearts of those he leaves behind. His love is Siemper Fi.
