Daniel S. Schwartz, born July 4th 1947, died unexpectedly on September 29th 2020 of complications from heart surgery. Daniel (Dan) is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nancy Simoni Schwartz, son, Bradford Daniel (Becca), daughter, Kristyn Anne (finace, Gregg Ormond) and grandchildren Saylor and Murphy. Dan was a graduate of Coral Gables High and University of Miami undergraduate and Law School. He had a long history of debate and won the National Championship in Moot Court. A prominent attorney prior to retirement, he practiced law for nearly 40 years, focusing mainly on medical malpractice defense. He was a diehard Hurricane fan, enjoyed tailgating, attending away games and the many Bowl games (go Canes). He was an avid golfer, world traveler, especially cruises and spent much of his time in the mountains of North Carolina. Dan really enjoyed Italian food, ice cream and loved his cat, Toffee. Born on the 4th of July, he loved to celebrate his birthday with fireworks. Dan was a force to be reckoned with; if you knew him, you never forgot him.
