Daniel P. Losada
On Thursday, October 8, 2020 Daniel Losada passed away peacefully, while surrounded by loving family members. Danny was born on November 27, 1950, in Miami, to Pedro “Pete” Losada and Cesarina “Sally” Losada. Danny graduated from Coral Park Senior High (1968) and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University. He spent a year in Canada, near the Arctic Circle, teaching Cree Indians. Eventually he and his first wife, the late Lavonia Losada, returned to Miami. Children Gregory D. Losada (Oliva) and Victoria L. Losada soon came along. Danny worked in construction and the automotive industry, most recently as a claims adjustor for Phoenix American. Danny married Paula Swift-Losada and they would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in December. Danny is survived by a brother, Mark Losada (Mary Jane), sister Anna-Maria (Jose), grandchildren Valentina and Luciano, stepson Jason Swift, three nieces and, a nephew.
