Daniel Paul Graffius, age 27, of Salem, Ohio, died on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the Emergency Room of Salem Community Hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was born December 1, 1984 in Salem, Ohio, the son of Richard E. and Terri Lynn (Falkner) Graffius. He was a 2004 graduate of Salem High School and was a self-employed painter for 6 years. His wife, Maria Dawn (Greathouse) Graffius, whom he married February 12, 2011, survives him along with a son, Clayton Graffius at home; a daughter, Paige Graffius at home; his parents Richard and Terri Graffius of Salem; two sisters, JoAnn Graffius of Wellsville and Jessica Graffius of East Liverpool; two brothers, Rick Graffius of Salem and Mathew Graffius of Leetonia; and several nieces and nephews.
