Daniel A. Osborne, 60, of Spencer passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at his residence. Born June 2, 1952 in Bloomington, he was the son of Dick and Betty (Alexander) Osborne.
An excellent craftsman, he worked as a jeweler at Williams Inc. for over 30 years. He took great pride in his work, and had many loyal customers who valued his honesty, integrity and workmanship. Dan’s passion for Indycars and Formula One Racing gave him much joy. Dan was passionate and knowledgeable about Formula One and Indycar Racing.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Carole (Willibey) Osborne, his dogs, Murphy and Baxter, his cat, Cora, three brothers, Mike Osborne, Tom Osborne both of Bloomington, Pat Osborne of Columbus, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
