Daniel Neil Austin, 65, of Knottsville passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his home. He was born in Grafton October 13, 1950, son of the late Neil O. Austin and is survived by his Mother Bonnie E. Foster Austin.
Danny graduated from Grafton High School Class 1968. He was a farmer and loved being outdoors on the Austin Family Farm. He was in the United States Navy. He was raised in the Knottsville United Methodist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Marty Austin and companion Marie Goush, Terry Austin and wife Michelle, both of Grafton; one sister, Kathryn Barnes, Medina, OH; one uncle, Ed Austin; four aunts, Jackie Lankford, Lovela Beel, Flossie Blaney, and Barbara Foster; twelve nieces and nephews, Troy, Bryan, Phillip, Adam, Hilary, Michael, Emily, Grace, Mandy, Jeremiah, Tara, Amanda, and many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Grace Foster; paternal grandparents, Oakley and Ocean Austin; brother-in-law, Brad Barnes; nephew, Riley Puckett.
