Daniel (Danny) M. Evans Jr., 25, of Germantown, Maryland died suddenly and unexpectedly at work on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Daniel was born on December 14, 1993 in Rockville, MD. Daniel is the oldest son of Daniel M. Evans Sr. and Elizabeth A. Rucci Callanan, and the stepson of Kevin J. Callanan. He is survived by his brothers, Anthony (Tony) A. Evans and Luke T. Evans, his step-sister, Danielle M. (Callanan) Barba and his step-brother, Kevin J. Callanan Jr. Our family dog, Bella, was Danny’s baby.
As a child Daniel attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in Bethesda, MD. He went on to attend and graduate from St. John’s College High School, Washington, DC in 2012. Daniel earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Lycoming College, Williamsport, PA in 2016. He was a security officer in Maryland for the past six years and most recently was working for Paragon Systems at the National Institutes of Health.
Daniel had an extremely loving heart for all of his beloved extended family and his many friends.
His personal passion in life was his physical fitness; lifting, running, mixed martial arts at Evolve Academy, and swimming competitively all throughout his childhood.
All of the lives that Daniel touched of his many family members and friends will be changed forever, through his living and now through the devastating loss of this beautiful young man.
