Daniel Lee Douglas was born in Lakeland, FL on January 2, 1942, to the late Charlie and Lue Ella Douglas.

He was a graduate of Rochelle High School class of 1960. He was in the Rochelle marching band where he played the trombone. Daniel continued his education at Gibbs College in St. Petersburg, FL, where he received his Associate Degree in Psychology. Daniel served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany for 2 years.

Daniel Lee Douglas began his new journey by accepting the call to join his parents and siblings on Saturday, March 12, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charlie, Jr. and Carl Douglas and sisters, Ella Daniels, Betty Ann and Bobbie Jean Douglas.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Eulie Douglas; sons, Demetrius Douglas, Daniel Reginald Douglas, Darryl E. Douglas, Sr. (Caryn) and Dietrich Douglas (Stephanie); daughter, Adanna Douglas (Timothy Blair); stepchildren, Charlene Hoilett (Osbourne), Andy Meade (Fontainette) and Oran Reid (Antoinette); brother, David Earl Douglas; niece, Beatrice Womble; brother-in-law, Norman Grandison; sisters-in-law, Helen Douglas and Vadlyn Wright; grandchildren, Sophia, Gabrielle, Daryl, Jr., Camryn, Melesia, Kymani, Xiyon, Talaia, Tyrese, Tiannah, Ethan, Arianna and  Dallas; cousins, Robert Dunn, Jr. (Ann), Robert Dunn, III, Elder Ronald Day (Joyce), Susan Haynes and close family friend Jerry McRae.

Mr. Douglas will be buried with military honors on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
