Daniel Lee Bloomquist, age 47, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday, December 20, 2021. He was born on December 18, 1974, in Yale Connecticut to the late Richard J. Bloomquist and Rosella Cotter Bloomquist. Dan is survived by his sister Kristy Malone and her husband Mearran Malone, brother, Richard Bloomquist, nephew and niece, Malik Jones and his wife Destine and Nakiya Ham-Bloomquist and uncle, Liam Cotter and his wife Jean and so many other family and friends. He never knew a stranger, everyone that ever met Dan could see that he was a genuine, honest, sincere, and passionate man that would do anything for anyone. He held high expectations and was extremely dedicated in school and in his work. Through his school years he played baseball, track and field, and football up to his graduation at Greenwich Central High. Dan then with his enthusiasm decided to further his education by attending Adirondack Community College and then SUNY Potsdam where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Art and Sociology, to later gain employment within the Pharmaceutical Industry. As he gained knowledge and experience in this field, he quickly moved up and was promoted into leadership roles which eventually led to Dan doing contract work for himself. Not only was Dan a hard worker, he enjoyed many hobbies: cooking, driving his cars or trucks or bikes (whether it was a mountain bike, a dirt bike, or a street bike it didn’t matter) he loved them all. Dan was perfection; everything he owned was appreciated and taken care of, just like he did for his family and friends. He was a social butterfly, truly the life of the party. God Bless you, may you rest in peace.
