Daniel L. Gantt, Jr., 64, died Friday, August 05, 2011 at his home in Moreland after a short but courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. He was born February 24, 1947 in Atlanta to the late Daniel La Fayette Gantt, Sr. & Mary Catherine Roberts Gantt. Mr. Gantt was a member of Crossroads Church and was an Asphalt Maintenance Foreman for the Coweta County Department of Corrections for the past eight years. He worked in Atlanta for many years in the printing industry as a lithographer and was the owner of Gantt Scrap Metal. Survivors include wife, Cheryl Gantt; children, Scott Gantt, Wendy Gantt Wright, Brett Gantt; grandchildren, Walker Andrews, Taylor Wright, Clayton Gantt, Beau Gantt, Jordan Gantt, Chase Gantt, Ty Gantt; and several nieces & nephews.
