Daniel Keel Bash, 70, of Pendleton, died in the early morning, Sunday, July 16, 2017, in his sleep at home. A long-time resident of Alexandria and Anderson, he recently moved to Pendleton.
Born in Indianapolis on Oct. 9, 1946, Daniel was graduated from Shortridge High School, Indianapolis, and attended Lassen College in Susanville, California. He was 70 years, nine months and seven days old at the time of his death.

Daniel married Lois Jean Wood on Dec. 8, 1978, and they had a daughter, Jennifer Ann Bash, born on July 23, 1980, in South Bend. Elaina Bash was born to Jennifer in Placerville, California.

Daniel worked as a laborer in the construction industry and later in the extermination business. He enjoyed fishing and spent July 15 catching bluegill and a channel catfish in Fall Creek near Fortville.

His parents, Eleanor Meek Bash and Richard Francis Bash, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his brother, Richard M. Bash, 72, of Pendleton; his daughter, Jennifer, 36; and his granddaughter, Elaina, 6; the latter two of Sacramento, California.
