Danny went on to work for General Electric Aviation. He also worked for many years in the fire suppression industry.
Danny enjoyed many good memories with family and friends including summer trips with his sons to Cape Breton Island. He loved watching his children play sports, driving his boat, and riding his motorcycle.
Danny was the father of Connor J. McCarthy and fiancé Shannon of Revere, MA and Liam P. McCarthy and girlfriend Alexa of Revere, MA, grandfather of Shayne R.
