Daniel Jones Hall, 51, West Jordan, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2009.
He was born September 14, 1958, in Boise, Idaho, the son of Elmer Rushforth Hall and Florence Jones Hall. He was the youngest of eight children. Survivors include: Linda Hall Simmons (Bart) Grace, Idaho, Porter Jones Hall (Janice) Sandy, Utah, Stephen Jones Hall (Sophia) Park City, Utah, Elizabeth Hall Jensen (Roddy) Sandy, Utah, and Mark Jones Hall (Barbara) Sandy, Utah, along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Elmer Rushforth Hall and Florence Jones Hall, a brother, Gary Elmer Hall and a sister, Carolyn Hall Affleck, grandparents Hyrum Albertus Hall and Margaret Jardine Hall, Joseph Porter Jones and Martha LaVerna Tolman Jones, and a nephew, Stephen Dean Simmons.
After Danny’s mother died of cancer, May 18, 1979, his father married Zona Giles, August 29, 1980, now deceased. Survivors include: Bill Giles (Zelma) Spokane, Washington, Linda Sproul (Jerry) Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Orson Giles (Sharon) Othello, Washington. Deceased Ted Giles, Shirley Giles.
Danny enjoyed participating in Special Olympics, running races, bowling, and several other sports. He loved to sing. His favorite songs were: “Take Me Home Country Roads”, “God Bless America”, and “I Am a Child of God”.
Danny will be missed by all of his family and friends. We will miss his bright smile, his singing, and the love he shared with his family.
