Daniel ‘Danny’ Harry Johnson, 72, of Chariton passed away Monday, December 12, 2011, peacefully at home.
Dan was born on December 9th, 1939 to Harry and Ruth (George) Johnson in Chariton, Iowa.
Dan is survived by his wife Alberta of 50 years, son Brent Johnson and wife Cathy of Chariton; son David Johnson and wife Kim of Eagan, Minnesota; four grandchildren, Brandon Johnson of Chariton; Amanda Allen and husband Sean of Chariton, and Aubri and Kurt Johnson of Eagan, Minnesota. He is survived by one great-grandson, Samson Allen of Chariton, one Uncle Dwight George of Grinnell, Iowa, and one Aunt, Itata George of Ottumwa, Iowa, as well as a host of relatives and friends.
Dan is preceded in death by his parents.
He will be missed by many.
