On January 22, 2023 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Daniel Joe Forsythe entered into his Savior’s arms after a valiant fight against Glioblastoma. He is survived by: his loving parents, Pastor Richard L. Forsythe & Diana L. Forsythe; his brother, Richard M. Forsythe along with spouse Gina F. Forsythe; his sisters Dori F. Smith along with spouse Henry B. Smith, Danette F. Sigmon along with spouse Donald K. Sigmon, Lydia M. Forsythe along with fiancé Adam J. Hover; his nieces Stephanie, Carmen, Arwen; and his nephews Billy, Keith, and Steven. He is preceded in death by: his Grandmother Jessy M. Forsythe & Grandfather Billy F. Forsythe who paid the ultimate sacrifice in WWII, his Grandmother Virginia C. Noggle & Grandfather Myrle E. Noggle, and his niece Elizabeth B. Rigdon.
Danny graduated high school from Goldsboro Christian School in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and went on to further his education in home improvement in California. Danny was an adventurous soul, made friends everywhere, and always kept everyone either laughing or shaking their head. He loved to fish, play & watch sports, and adored the summertime. He loved to be around any type of body of water, loved to listen to music, and was a fan of action/legal novels. Danny was an avid supporter of UNC basketball, the Carolina Panthers, and a secret supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs due to his brief time living in Kansas. Danny was an active member of Peoples Baptist Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he loved to hear his dad’s sermons. As a profession most of his life, he loved to work in any type of home improvement/construction and was an extremely talented painter.
