Daniel James Andrykowski, age 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Englewood, CO. He was born September 13, 1956 in Chicago, IL, to Daniel and Elizabeth (Davis) Andrykowski. He spent his early years in the suburbs, then moved with his family to Chadron, NE where he learned horseback riding, cattle ranching, and rodeoing. As a young adult, he returned to Illinois to live amongst two of his favorite people, his paternal and maternal grandmothers. Daniel went on to meet his future wife, Laura (Trotochaud) while working together at a local retailer. The two moved to Denver shortly after and were married in December of 1980. He worked as a surveyor for Denver Water, and loved all things outdoors—biking, skiing, and hiking through the mountains. He was a beloved and devoted father who dedicated his life to his two children. Those who knew him were familiar with his vast knowledge of everything ranging from finance to philosophy, his uncanny sense of humor, philanthropic endeavors, and his unwavering dedication to his Catholic faith. He is survived by his children, Melissa (Brad Turner) and Danny; his mother; 8 brothers and sisters; and, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
