Daniel J. Nadeau, age 65, of Stratford, beloved husband and best friend of Marlene (Francis) Nadeau, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Born in Bridgeport, the son of the late Alsire and Diane (LeBlanc) Nadeau, he was raised in Fairfield and had been a Stratford resident for the last 30 years. Daniel was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School. From the age of 12, he worked in landscaping and, in 1981, co-founded Plantscapes Organics, Inc. of Fairfield alongside his brother Michael Nadeau. Dan worked hard building and growing his successful business. His work ethic and desire to help anyone was second to none. He would literally give the shirt off his back to help others. He was a surrogate father to many and loved entertaining his large family and circle of friends.
