Daniel J. Connors, age 89 of Holiday City Carefree section of Berkeley Twp. passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Daniel lived in Cedar Grove, NJ before moving to Holiday City in 1980. He graduated from St. Michael’s Diocesan High School in Brooklyn, NY.
Daniel then attained the rank of Private First Class in the United States Army during WWII. He later went on to work as a Systems Analyst for Western Union in New York City, NY for over 35 years. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Karen Connors and by his son-in-law, John Puglisi. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Norma (Olsen) Connors, his daughters, Cathy Walker and her husband Joseph of Bayville, NJ and Deborah Puglisi of Clermont, FL, three grandchildren, Joanna Puglisi, Stephen Walker and Stacey Walker.
