Daniel Holst, February 4, 1964 – March 17, 2012.
Danny passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 after a courageous, hard fought battle with cancer. He was born February 4, 1964 in Houston, Texas, the son of Victor and Nancy (Passmore) Holst. Danny married his wife, Carrie (Guillen) Holst, July of 2010 in Bell County. He lived in Central Texas all of his life and worked for FedEx for 16 years.
He was full of love and peace and never failed at making everyone smile often greeting them with his catch phrase, “Hey hero!”. This combined with his positive, glass half-full attitude caused him to know no stranger in life. He loved the outdoors and would be outside as much as possible.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents. Survivors include, his loving wife Carrie Holst; one son, Atticus Holst; one daughter, Daniella Holst, all of Temple; one brother, Don Carlisle of New Jersey; and one sister, Debbie Holst of San Antonio.
