On Monday, October 10, 2016, our beloved son, Daniel Gene Duclos passed away at his family home in Middletown at the age of 33. He was the son of Gene and Denise (Robbins) Duclos of Middletown. He was a graduate of Bacon Academy in 2002 in Colchester and was involved in many sports including basketball, baseball and football. Daniel was a union ironworker from Local #15 in Hartford. Ironwork was his passion and leaves behind many brothers. He worked hard and was proud to be union and of his brotherhood. Daniel loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He loved to camp and do canoe trips. He got to sky dive, loved roller coasters, four wheeling on the quad. He was also a great cook; we enjoyed several of his meals, many that were spicy hot. He loved everything from tacos to raw bar.
