Daniel Edward Williams passed away recently at his home in Boise. Dan was 81. He was born in Emmett Idaho October 2, 1931. He and his older sister Wanda were raised in the Caldwell – Middleton area. The family moved to Boise in 1943 when their mother Catherine married Leslie Dale McNair. Dan lived in Boise the rest of his life except for his time in the military.
Dan enlisted in the Navy in October, 1948 and was discharged in 1952.
After his retirement from Mountain Bell Dan lived quietly in Boise until his death. He is survived by his half-brother David B. McNair of Boise and by a niece Lisa Keeton. He was a member of the VFW and the Telephone Pioneers.
