Daniel David Samento July 11, 1957 ~ June 12, 2014 Daniel David Samento, 56, passed away June 12, 2014 in Canon City, CO. The son of Lewis and Marjie (Henson) Samento, he was born July 11, 1957 in Denver, CO. Daniel graduated from Canon City High School in 1975. Shortly after his graduation, he joined the Police Academy. He began his career with the Canon City police department as an officer in 1981 and retired in 2011. He was united in marriage to Priscilla Elaine Jenkins in 2003. He enjoyed working on cars, especially corvettes. He also enjoyed attending Corvette social events. Daniel is survived by his sons, Jesse Samento and Shelby Masse; and his siblings, Ken, Tony, and Tammy. He was preceded in death by his parents.
