Daniel Wayne “Danny” Carney, 61, passed away in Ardmore April 8, 2020. The son of the late Virgil Daniel Carney and Sealin Jane Carterby Marris, Danny was born June 3, 1958 in Los Angeles, California. No services are scheduled at this time.
After the family moved to Ardmore, Danny graduated from Springer High School. He worked for the Daily Ardmoreite for many years in the mailroom. He later worked for the Ardmore Softball Complex and at Wal-Mart for five years.
Danny was a people person, always had smile on his face and a quick hello for you. He was proud of his Native American heritage.
Danny is survived by his sister Debra Lynn Parker and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him and will miss him. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Dana Marie Carney and Donna Renee Taylor.
