He loved to tell jokes, enjoyed reading mafia books and listening to jazz will be greatly missed by all his dear friends and family. Survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Sylvia (nee Epstein) Helfand; his cherished daughter Mindy Romano and his loving brother Earl Helfand (Susan).
