Mr. Dan Allison, age 72, a resident of Ludlow passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson.
Mr. Allison was born in Scott County in 1940. He loved to laugh and tell stories. Dan and his wife, Dean, have traveled all over the United States. As long as Dan was doing for others, he was happy. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Gilford Allison Sr. and Stella Lou Barrett Allison; step mother, Leva Belle Walters Allison and sisters, Lataine Lott and Wilma (Bobbie) Bowers.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dean Thomason Allison of Ludlow; son, James Allison Ellis of Byram; sisters, Charlene Nutt of Madison, MS and Nancy Nutt of Pearland, TX; granddaughter, Abbie Ellis; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
