Wolcott – Daniel Raymond Daddona (Dan), 63, passed away on August 12, 2014 after a long battle with multiple myeloma. He was the beloved husband of Louise (Brewster) Daddona. Dan was born in Waterbury to the late Domenick and Shirley (Cyr) Daddona. He attended Crosby High School and was the president of the class of 1969. He received a BS degree from Southern Connecticut State College . Dan is the owner of Daddona Studios, Inc. in Pompano, FL where he was the creative force behind many art projects for such companies as Caesar’s Palace, Universal Studios and Walt Disney World. He enjoyed painting, sculpture, artwork and kayaking. In addition to his wife, Mr. Daddona is survived by two daughters: Kristine Shamel of Boca Raton, Florida and Terra Hidalgo and her husband Dario of Coconut Creek, Florida, grandchildren Jordan Shamel, Sophia Shamel and Davian Hidalgo. A brother Steven and wife Rebecca Daddona of Bethany, several nieces, nephews and cousins including Brian, Jeffrey and Nicholas Daddona. He was predeceased by a son: Bobby Daddona.
