Daniel Christian Schrope, 95, of Anderson, passed away on March 21, 2015, at the Saint Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in Anderson, IN. He was born on January 20, 1920, in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Houston, Texas, and Anderson.
Daniel graduated from Anderson High School and attended Wittenburg University in Springfield, Ohio. He held several positions in Automotive Inventory control for American Parts and Gulf and Western Industries. Upon returning to Anderson, he worked at St. John’s Hospital. He enjoyed music and sang in choirs in Anderson and Houston, Texas. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Daniel is survived by his loving spouse, Sara “Sue” (Off) Schrope, son, Peter Schrope, granddaughter, Bambi (Matt) Addison, great-granddaughter, Charlotte Addison, a great-grandson, Benjamin Addison, sister, Elsie Hughes, several nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Schrope, mother, Emma (Mann) Schrope, father, William Schrope, and siblings, Paul, Alice, and Elvin.
