Daniel died on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in Camden, Ohio. He was born on November 7, 1942 at the former San Antonio Hospital in Kenton to the late Sam and Hazel (Switzer) Jacobs.
Surviving are a son; Sam Jacobs of Attica, grandchildren; Aaron Jacobs, Amanda Jacobs, a daughter-in-law; Jennifer Jacobs, 2 sisters; Janet Turner of Waterloo, OH, Connie Jacobs of New Albany, and several nieces and nephews.
Daniel was preceded in death by a son; Larry Daniel Jacobs, a sister; Linda Adams Gibson, and an infant brother; Samuel Jacobs.
Daniel graduated from Marseilles High School in 1960, where he played basketball. He then attended Ohio Northern University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
Daniel retired after a career as a teacher and a coach.
