Daniel Brown, 58 of Linden passed away peacefully Tuesday evening in his sleep.

He was born July 7, 1959 to Kenneth and Joyce Staton Brown.  He graduated from North Montgomery High School in 1978 and Ivy Tech in Indianapolis as a tool & die maker.

Dan worked in the parts department at Bob Rohrman Automotive, he previously worked at Acuity, Raybestos and Alcoa. He was an Eagle Scout from Boy Scout Troop 326, a member of NRA, Linden Conservation Club, Sons of the American Legion and a Hunters Education       Intructor. He never met a stranger and his birthday cards always made people smile. He was a avid collector of many things.

He is survived by his children; Joshua (Abby) Brown of Lafayette and Megan Hall of Darlington; Father and step mother Ken & Sandra Brown of Crawfordsville; Brother Phil (Becky) Brown of Crawfordsville; Sister Teresa (Mike) Teague of Crawfordsville; Companion Cindy Good of Danville, IL; grandchildren Makia, Christian, Jackson, Sophia, Alexander, Emma and Cole, as well as nieces Madelyn, Becca and nephew Jacob.  He is also survived by his aunt Judy Miller of Indianapolis and his beloved cat Monty.

He was preceded in death by his mother Joyce Brown, Uncles Ronald Wethington and Wayne Miller and Sister Diana Brown.
