Daniel Brent Snider, 55, of Elkhart, died at 10:42 a.m. Friday (March 27, 2009) in the emergency room at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Oct. 27, 1953, in Alton, Ill., to William L. and Lila (Smith) Snider.
Three daughters, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Richardson of Campbellville, Ky., Leslie (Gary) Forkner of Osceola and Natalie (Steven) Lynch of Vacaville, Calif., survive along with six grandchildren; two sisters, Kimberly (Ron) Fennell of LaGrange and Beth (Pat) Moran of South Bend; one brother, Steven (Lorie) Snider of Muncie; his father of Warsaw; and his former wife and mother of his daughters, Vickie Squint of Osceola.
His mother and stepmother, Julia Snider, preceded him in death.
Mr. Snider had been a manager at Wind in the Willows Art and Frame Shop. He enjoyed attending antique car shows with his family, the outdoors, kayaking with his daughter, Natalie, and flying. He had earned his pilot’s license in high school.
