On February 1, 2008, Daniel B. Darrah of Glen Burnie passed on. Daniel is dearly loved by his family which included his loving wife of 25 years, Angela Darrah; his dear children, Mark Darrah and his wife Lisa, Jude Darrah and Adam Darrah; and his dear grandchildren, Luke and Madison Darrah. Daniel was born in Pennsylvania in 1940. He graduated from Lords High School in Pennsylvania.

He then attended, and graduated from, the University of Maryland for 2 years. He was a resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland for 30 years. Daniel was a member of the United States Army for 3 years. He was also employed by the Department of Defense for over 33 years. He was a member of the Bowie Elks Lodge. He was also a member of the American Legion #276 on Quarterfield Road where he was a chaplain, a Sgt. Of Arms and Post Gunman. He enjoyed his computers and collecting coins. He also coached Little League Baseball and other sports. Daniel played Santa Claus for Christmas at times. He was a dear grandfather who loved being ‘Grampy’ for his grandchildren. Daniel was a dear man who will be missed by many.
