He attended briefly Gethsemane United Methodist Church while living in Muncie and had attended Madison Park Church of God and West Anderson Church of God in prior years. Dan was proud of his family and German heritage. In his leisure he enjoyed working out at the gym, watching classic movies, reading the financial section of the daily newspaper, and having morning coffee at Concannon’s Bakery in Muncie.
