DaNae Fortie
DaNae Fortie returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. She was the daughter of Dwain and RaVae Fortie. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School. She had two children, Brock and Ashley.
DaNae was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served faithfully as a Young Women’s leader and a Primary teacher. She was a hard worker and worked for Amalgamated Sugar for 28 years. She loved her family, especially spoiling her grandkids. She loved the holidays and decorating. She loved taking care of her special dog, Murphy, and enjoyed Sonic, especially Vanilla Diet Coke.
She is survived by her children; Brock (Emilie) Costley and Ashley (Jason) Steinbeck, and five grandchildren; Alex Costley, Aylie, Aiden, and Adalynn Haubner, and Jonah Steinbeck. Also her mother, RaVae Fortie, her sister, Wendy (Rick) Brown, and her brother, Scott (Meeja) Fortie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dwain J. Fortie.
A special thanks to her coworkers at Amalgamated Sugar, friends, and family for their love and support during this time.
