Dana Rose Branch, 84, of Picayune, MS, was surrounded by her family when she passed away on August 8, 2019, at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Covington, was born Dana Lee Ott on the family ranch in the gypsum hills outside Medicine Lodge, KS. She grew up between a California logging town and the wheat fields of southern Kansas. She often laughed that she was voted the “most beautiful girl in school” multiple years in her rural 1 room school house attended by 3 boys and 1 girl. She later went on to build one of the most successful arts and crafts promotion business in the southern United States and became the first woman promoter of mall shows in the . Branch had a vibrant faith in Jesus and deep love for family and friends….m… Branch’s memory can be made to the Roseland Park Baptist Church, 2130 Hwy 11 N, Picayune, MS 39466 with “Dana Branch Memorial Fund” in the . Branch was an artist at heart, from cooking to crafting to fine art, she created beauty all around her. May her legacy of faith and love endure in the hearts of all those who knew her.
