Dan R. Ly, (68), of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away while on vacation in Cambodia on Sunday, April 30, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Yong, and two children, Elizabeth and Anthony.
Dan was born in Sóc Trăng, Vietnam to Chin and Hien Ly. He grew up with his siblings, Hol, Duc, Ral, Ren, Ret, and Menh. In his 20’s, he became a refugee of the Vietnam War. He eventually came to the US for a new beginning. He met Yong in Albuquerque, where they began dating.
