Mr. Dan Phillip Kirby, 62, of Newnan, passed away September 7, 2012. Dan was a strong and dedicated leader, a man who could quickly and significantly improve the lives of those he met. Dan put God at the center of his life, his marriage, and his family, whom he loved with all of his heart. He loved to take care of everyone around him. He was a good and faithful servant to his family, community and church, as well as a good steward of the gifts God entrusted to him. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer John Kirby; grandsons, Asa Walker Kirby, Elijah John Kirby, and is survived by his wife, Theda Bernard Kirby; mother, June Marie Kirby; son, Bryan Patrick Kirby and his wife Samantha Ruth Kirby; daughter, Jennifer Kirby Murphy and her husband Todd Andrew Murphy; grandson, Crawford Joseph Kirby; brother, Gregory Shawn Kirby and his wife Dee Kirby; nephew, Joshua Shawn Kirby; nieces, Carrie Kirby Smith, Kellianne Elizabeth Kirby, and a great-nephew, Waylon Gregory Kirby.
