Dallas was born on September 22, 1928 in Hartington, Nebraska to Lee & Gesina (Drieling) Morris. He grew up and attended school in the Albion / St. Edward area. He joined the military, serving as a Sargent in the Army from 1950-1956, serving one year in Korea. After the military, he returned to St. Ed and started a lifelong career with the Union Pacific Railroad. He married Dorothy Cochrane on August 6, 1960 and relocated to Norfolk.
Dallas is survived by his children, Janet Morris and Debra Morris, both of Norfolk; one brother, Paul & Virginia Morris of Genoa; three sisters, Delores & Jerry Childs of Torrington, Wyoming, Shirley Morris of Albion, and Pauline & Delmar Pelster of Petersburg, Nebraska; 7 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy in 1991, two daughters Karen Follette and Charlotte Perske, 3 brothers, 3 sisters.
