BENSINGER, DALE Dale Reuben Bensinger, age 87, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 28, 2014. Dale was born August 6, 1927 in Pullman, MI, the son of Reuben and Myrtle Hayes Bensinger. He had served in the U.S. Navy during WW II.
Dale was a longtime Kalamazoo area resident and member of the Calvary Bible Church. For over 50 years he had served in many capacities on the church board, serving on the church staff including several years directing the Senior Citizens Ministry and singing in the church choir. Dale was employed by the Eckrich Company for over 37 years, retiring as a supervisor. On October 6, 1948, he was united in marriage to the former Beverly Mills Bensinger, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Carol Eddie Dickerson and Nancy Doug Postma; four grandchildren, Matt Rena Svoboda, Andrew Svoboda, Jennifer Jeff Belmonte and Melissa Jared Stout; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ray Sue Bensinger, Earl Bensinger and Lyle June Bensinger; nieces and nephews.
