Dale Petrea Beachum, 71, of Norwood, went to her heavenly home Friday, December 16, 2022.
Dale was born March 1, 1951 in North Carolina to the late Vaughn Manson Smith and the late Faye Novella Petrea Smith.
She was also preceded in death by sister, Elizabeth “Vicki” Grissom.
Survivors include husband, Clyde R. Beachum of Norwood, NC; children, Elvis Quentin Smith and Westley Thomas Beachum; step-children, Benjamin A. Beachum, Debroah G. Williams, Joy Burris, and James R. Beachum; grandson, Jordan Smith; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Taylor, Nancy Little, Brenda Hill, Lynda Smith, Shirley (Michael) Davis, and Marilyn (John) Lankford; brother, Tommy (Tracy) Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Dale was a strong Christian and an active member of Freedom Holiness Church in Albemarle. She grew up in Stanly County and graduated from West Stanly High School.
