Dale Lee East, age 67, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.
Mr. East was born on May 15, 1954, in Dadeville, Alabama to the late Dewey East and Willodean Bailey East.
Mr. East began working in the textile mills at a young age transitioning from West Point Pepperell to West Point Stevens. He worked in several different mills over the years, and he retired from the West Point Stevens Company. After his retirement from the mills, he worked for Givorns Food Stores.
He enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves Baseball and was an avid University of Alabama football fan. He also enjoyed Star Trek and playing billiards.
He is survived by his siblings, Gary (Debbie) East, Linda Kelley, Mike East, James (Cheryl) Estes; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
