Dale Eugene Carlson, 91, of Idaho Falls, Idaho passed away early Monday morning, September 8, 2014 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Dale was born on April 7, 1923 in Idaho Falls, Idaho the son of Emil and Lillie Lindgren Carlson. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls; graduating from Idaho Falls High School. In January of 1943, Dale entered the U.S. Army at Fort Douglas, Utah. He served his country proudly until he was Honorable Discharged in 1946. Dale married Gwendolyn Dalling on August 19, 1942 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Together they raised four children:; Barry, Dennis, Laurie and Barbara. Gwen passed away in 2012.
