Dale E. Needham, 66, of Eden, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. He was born September 18, 1948 to the late Earl D. and Elenora (Perkins) Needham in Murphysboro, IL. Dale was a truck driver for over 40 years, working for Little Dutch Cleaners and Tuttle’s Orchard, driving for Ecoff Trucking, Daily Oil and Switzer Truck Lines, and retiring in 2013.
He was a charter member of the Fortville Optimist Club and and member of F.O.P. 140 in Greenfield. Dale is survived by his wife Cathy A. (Butcher) Needham of Eden; daughter Melissa Needham of Eden; son Scott Needham of Indianapolis; grandson Loran Dale Smith of Eden; brothers Ronald, Dennis, and Ken Needham; and sisters Joan Reed, Sheila Brahic and Kim Davis; the Wednesday Night Supper Bunch; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by daughter Paula Needham and sister Lydia Needham.
