Dale deMoulpied Bacon, widow of Robert E Bacon to whom she was married for 49 years, went home to her Lord on November 4, 2016. Dale was born on April 15, 1922 in Concord, N H, the daughter of the late Jessica Evans deMoulpied and Walter de Moulpied.

Dale had lived in Cromwell for 63 years before moving to Luther Manor in Middletown in 2013.

Dale is survived by her daughter, Jo-Ann Bacon Smith of Cromwell and her son in law, Kenneth Smith, who was like a son to her, her grandson Wayne Hampton and his partner, Susan Gray of Colchester, and her great granddaughter, Catherine Hampton of Cromwell, and her former husband –her “knight in shining armor”- Wilfred “Bill” Duchesneau of Brewster, MA whom she married at the age of 80 on May 18, 2002 after they became reacquainted at their 60th high school reunion. She also leaves her nieces, Susan Tyler, Ann Bacon, Susan Demers, Pam Kendall, Sandra Andre, Debra Gurski, and Lana Bates, her special “adopted grandchildren” Christy and David Billings and their sons, Alan and Thomas, and Alan and Sally Clark and their son Christopher.

Along with her first husband and parents, Dale was also predeceased by her son, Douglas, two sisters, Ruth King and Doris Jordan, 5 brothers; Kent, David, Richard and Dean and Donald deMoulpied and a grand nephew, Lance Tyler.
