Dale D. Colby, 100, of West Lafayette, went to be with the Lord, with his family by his side, on Friday, September 16, 2022, at his home from complications from a stroke on August 31. He was born July 3, 1922, in Clinton County, to the late Rollo B. and Annis (Bosworth) Colby. Dale graduated from Rossville High School and on June 12, 1942, he married Inez Burns and she preceded him in death on January 10, 2018. He worked for Duncan Electric for 35 years enjoyed working with electronic and fixing anything. Dale was in the process of reading the Bible through again and was in II Timothy when he passed away.
Surviving are his children Terri (Dwaine) Tillman of Avon, Thomas (Linda) Colby of Lafayette, Michael L. and Timothy D. Colby of West Lafayette. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren several great great grandchildren.
