Dale “Butch” “Rawhide” Langford, age 65 of Northview, beloved husband of Joann Shingleton Langford passed peacefully September 17, 2012 at Louis A. Johnson Veterans Medical Center. Surviving are daughter, Crystal Langford of Clarksburg; one sister, Sharon McDaniels of Matthews, NC; one grandson, Devon; one granddaughter, Jaslyn; five stepsons, Ray, Roger, Rodney, Billy, David; one niece, Michelle; one nephew, Sonny; several step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Hoskinson. Dale was born November 7, 1946; son of the late Dale and Emma Jane Roades Langford. Dale was of the Baptist Faith, a lifetime member of the Harrison County VFW, American Legion and Moose. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid Nascar fan, especially Jeff Gordon.
